The illuminance is geared to the product in
question
Illuminance is the total of the light hitting a
surface. The greater the illuminance, the
brighter the illumination. Natural midday summer
sunlight achieves illuminance of 60,000 to
100,000 lx, however, illuminance of 750 to 2,500
lx is sufficient to perfectly illuminate
supermarket fruit and vegetable displays,
depending on the placement of the luminaires.
