Lighting expertise
Lighting technology is a science in itself and
it would go beyond the scope of the BARO website
to explain this. However, to put it in simple
terms, people concerned with professional
product lighting must choose the right lighting
to suit the consistency, colours, shapes and
shelf-life of the huge range of food and
non-food products to be illuminated from the
many light sources, wattages, reflectors,
filters, illuminances and luminous intensities
available. Last but not least they must also
decide whether suspended luminaires, recessed
luminaires or light luminaires are best for the
application and which design best suits the room
in question. This is the task of the BARO light
planners. Their expertise enables them to find
the perfect lighting concept to meet the
individual needs of retailers or traders. Here,
we will limit ourselves to highlighting a small
number of aspects that will nevertheless allow
interested users to gain an impression of the
opportunities that professional product lighting
offers retailers and traders today and in
future.
