Press Release May 2008 - BARO Lighting Shines in Deli Sagra 2nd Dec 2008

Providing the perfect food retail experience for its customers was Deli Sagra’s brief to its retail solution partners when transforming space within the famous JR Taylors department store in Lytham St. Annes, Lancashire, to a modern delicatessen and café. Letting the products on display speak for themselves within a rustic décor was integral to the installation and Deli Sagra retained the services of BÄ.RO Lighting and Bailey & Smiths Limited to provide custom made retail lighting and shop fitting solutions for the upmarket deli.

With a strong emphasis on fresh food, BÄ.RO Lighting used a combination of surface mounted and pendant luminaires with specialist lamps, UV filters and reflector technology to achieve the correct lighting for each product type and showcase each beautifully.

BÄ.RO used its Bondo, Delphinus and Carina fixtures that are designed to uniformly and gently light fresh produce displays to ensure that they not only look their absolute best from the start but that they retain their natural visual appeal for longer, enjoying a prolonged shelf life which results in considerable cost savings for the retailer

With 4,000 square feet of space allocated to Deli Sagra from JR Taylors’ clothing department, the custom built hot, cold and ambient display counters that were tailor made for this project by Bailey and Smiths, were perfectly complimented by BÄ.RO Lighting’s bespoke retail lighting solution to meet and exceed the client’s brief. 

Located in the heart of Lytham St. Annes, JR Taylors and Deli Sagra have enjoyed huge success since the official opening in December 2007.
