Press Release August 2008 - Supervalu Lightens the mood & energy bills 2nd Dec 2008

Customers visiting the recently refitted SuperValu stores at Palmerstown and Balbriggan in Dublin, are enjoying a new and much improved shopping experience thanks in part to the new lighting systems supplied by BÄ.RO Retail Lighting.

When it came to refitting both stores, both energy efficiency and retail effective store lighting was a priority for owner, Luke Moriarty.

BÄ.RO’s Paul Bealin takes up the story, “Aesthetically, surface mounted BÄ.RO Nano spot lights, which combine cutting edge technology with an elegant, sophisticated look, really complement the BÄ.RO Arondo track mounted spot in the off-sales area where products are displayed to best advantage through BÄ.RO’s ingenious reflector technology. Each store has been superbly finished with tremendous style!”

“The success of the stores’ development is due largely to the dedicated project team who undertook the extensive and complex lighting installation in structured stages over an eight month period.

“We had to consider three different ceiling heights when choosing the correct lighting and by using a smart combination of luminaires, lamps and reflector technology we met the client’s brief to cut running costs without compromising the overall look and feel of the stores.”

These installations are the latest example of BÄ.RO’s commitment to improving everyone’s shopping experience through lighting whilst looking after the environment.
