Lighting industry leader BÄ.RO is delighted to have supplied the lighting solution for the flagship Renfrew store of the Keystore chain. With over 150 stores across Scotland, the Keystore brand is well-known and extremely successful. The Renfrew store is owned by J W Filshill Ltd, the wholesaler to Keystore, who were established in 1875 and supply all of the stores. They now have a model store, where potential Keystore customers can visit and gain insight into Keystore retailing. The brief to BÄ.RO was for a lighting solution designed with energy efficiency and low-cost maintenance as the priority, whilst also providing the best possible light levels within the shop. This resulted in BÄ.RO choosing their Libra Batwing luminaire, which can simultaneously illuminate both sides of an aisle with increased spacing between the luminaires, thus saving on numbers of luminaires needed, reducing lamp maintenance and of course the all important energy saving. Ian Craddock, Store Development Manager comments: “There were many factors to be considered when refitting the Renfrew Keystore. While the lighting in the shop was of an acceptable level, our aim was to enhance the store with a more effective, yet practical, lighting package. BÄ.RO were able to ascertain the correct style of lighting and with their expertise we have achieved potentially the perfect lighting solution”.
