Supervalu Balbriggan & Palmerstown, Dublin
BÄ.RO Lighting, in association with Musgrave Retail Partners supplied a new retail lighting solution for SuperValu stores in Palmerstown & Balbriggan, with energy efficiency high on the agenda.
The stores, belonging to successful local businessman, Luke Moriarty, have just been refitted, with the Balbriggan store having been extended to provide underground parking and more shopping facilities for residents and tourists in the seaside town.
The new lighting installation a large and complex project was undertaken in stages over a period of eight months and managed by a dedicated project team that significantly contributed to the success of the store’s development.
There were three different ceiling heights to consider when choosing the correct lighting and through using a smart combination of luminaires, lamps and reflector technology the client’s brief to cut running costs was effectively accomplished, without compromising the overall look and feel of the store.
BÄ.RO’s Paul Bealin comments, “The surface mounted BÄ.RO Nano spot lights really compliment the BÄ.RO Arondo track mounted spot in the off sales area. Whilst this has not been an easy project it has produced a store that is superbly finished with tremendous style!”
With the completion of re-fitment of the Supervalu stores, customers are set to enjoy a pleasant shopping experience in an environment that has been designed especially to lighten the mood!
