Londis store in Hendon based in the heart of a retail area now located within the London Borough of Barnet.

Brief:

BÄ.RO Lighting and Londis have developed a successful partnership based on extensive store refurbishment projects in some of the brands 2200 UK stores. 

Owned by Alkesh Patel, the Hendon store involved a comprehensive re-fit in just a two week period, half the time normally allocated for this type of project. 

When he visited a selection of BÄ.RO installations in Ireland, prior to the re-fit, Mr Patel, was so impressed by BÄ.RO’s lighting design for Musgrave Supervalu that he requested the same lighting solutions for his store in Hendon. This is the third and largest store in Mr Patel’s retail stable all of which have been refurbished using BÄ.RO products.

Solution:

Commenting on the installation’s challenges, BÄ.RO’s Senior Development Manager, Paul Streeter said “We used a variety of retail lighting fittings to create a welcoming ambiance that presents the revitalised Londis store and its wide range of products to best advantage. We worked within tight deadlines with Contrast Shopfitters and Secelec Electricians who supported us on this project.
